EXTERNAL COMMITTEE

This committee is responsible for developing, recommending, and following up on decisions regarding relations with other co-operative and community organizations. Specifically, this includes developing relations with NACHA, CHF, 3rd Sector, Riverdale Community League, and Rooftops Canada Foundation.

The Riverdale Housing Co-operative is a member of the Northern Alberta Co-operative Housing Association (NACHA), a federation of Housing Co-operatives who provide a variety of services to our membership and to the public who are interested in finding out more about cooperative housing. COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES

Educate the membership of the co-op regarding CHF, NACHA, CHFA, Rooftops Canada Int'l, the Riverdale Community League, & others.
Participate on committees of the above organizations when appropriate and where possible.
Ensure that Riverdale Housing Co-op delegates to these organizations are well briefed and represent the views of our co-op.
Ensure that delegates report regularly to the co-op's Board and to - the general membership.

in the organizations mentioned above.
